We proactively and regularly work with all the top anti-virus companies to ensure our product is and remains completely safe for people to install and use.
At our request, both the browser add-on and the PageRage website are routinely scanned by McAfee Secure, Norton Antivirus and CNET/Download.com to ensure that they are absolutely safe for users. These companies verify that PageRage is neither a virus nor spyware.
PageRage is Ad-Supported
PageRage is a completely safe app and is able to provide its millions of users with hundreds of cool Facebook layouts because it’s ad-supported. We operate just like other ad-supported apps such as Pandora and Angry Birds. Apps like this are able to operate at zero cost to the user because they incorporate ads. PageRage is all About Safety
It is technically impossible for our software to infect your computer with a virus. In any case, we want to do anything possible to ensure viruses are never associated with our products. If you believe that you may have this issue, please send us a screen shot of any suspicious messages or activities visible on your computer. You can take screen shots by doing the following:
- Press ‘CTRL-Print Screen’ (next to F12) on your keyboard (this will take a snapshot of your computer screen).
- Open Paint or MS Word.
- Press ‘CTRL-V’ to paste the screen shot.
- Save it.
- Send screen shot(s) to our support team via email: customersupport@pagerage.com.
As with any download, we’ve heard of remote cases where PageRage was bundled with “bad” software. We are not associated with these programs and it is a violation of our terms of services to be grouped with any software that is not safe for users. If we ever learn of such situations, the PageRage team takes immediate and aggressive actions to terminate this practice and resolve the issue.
