Yontoo Releases First Layer App - Sanity Switch

A New Layer Application That Removes Layout Modifications On MySpace Pages

6/18/08 FALLBROOK, CA - The craze of the social networking arena just got a little more sane. Sanity Switch is a new browser application that allows users to remove the customized artwork on MySpace pages. Developed by Yontoo Technologies, Inc. in southern California, Sanity Switch is a free download that works with most web browsers. It brings sanity back to MySpace pages that members have over “pimped.”

Sanity Switch removes the artwork and modifications on MySpace pages, but it just as easily puts them back by clicking the button again. And because all modifications take place on client side software, there is no effect to the underlying webpage or layout.

“We’re not against people customizing or modifying their MySpace pages at all,” says Arie Trouw, one of the founders of Yontoo Technology. “We feel we have come up with a great tool that enhances the social networking experience. Let’s face it, some people take MySpace customization too far, while others take it way too far.”

MySpace members should be reassured that the different view that Sanity Switch provides is created solely in the browser of the person using Sanity Switch. This in no way affects the original MySpace page or website. Nothing on the page itself is actually deleted or modified.

Sanity Switch is an example of what Yontoo calls a Layer App. Yontoo has created a browser overlay platform called Yontoo Layers on which users can install different Layer Apps which are individual tools that provide different functionalities.

Sanity Switch is now available for free download at www.sanityswitch.com and works with Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2 on Windows XP or Windows Vista, and Firefox 3 for the Mac OS X operating systems.

Yontoo Technologies, Inc. is an Internet development company based in Fallbrook, CA. Yontoo is currently working on additional Layer Apps that will be available soon such as Page Rage, which will allow users to modify social network pages in ways and places that they are unable to with currently available tools and functionality.
